Forgotten Memorabilia – Thesis Piece

Forgotten Memorabilia was a single channel created in partner with my research to earn distinction in my major, Emergent  Digital Practices at the University of Denver. My thesis focused on the relationship between perception and memory, how each can change the other. Our brains are constantly using our memories to help process our current situations, causing us to link our current experiences to our past ones. This process also alters our memories by adding new information to those memories. This is why no one remembers events in the same way even if they were side by side for the event. Feel free to read the whole research paper here.

Mobile Projections DU

Mobile Projections is an organization that I started at the University of Denver that focused on bringing student work to the rest of campus through a custom built bike equipped with projectors. I built the bike using an adult tricycle and rigged up two projectors, a generator and a place for a laptop to sit. With this setup we project mapped content onto the architecture of buildings around campus. Learn more about it here.

The University of Denver Magazine wrote an article about it that you can see here.

Museum of Outdoor Arts Design and Build 2016

Archetype Revival is the title of the Design and Build 2016 collaborative exhibition that I was a part of at the Museum of Outdoor Arts. Our design and build class consisted of 12 artists led by resident artist Cory Gilstrap and we created 15 collaborative works.  Featured here is my personal piece and several of the tech heavy projects that I had a main role in creating.
